Pre-Kinder & Head-Start programs are a great educational period for children and parents alike. It’s the first real socialization & interaction for children and departure from their parents as well.
At ages 3 to 5 years most children are still in the imaginary play stage where they’ve not begun to challenge their climbing abilities quite as much as older ages, say 6 to 12 years.
During this lower level of play, or ground level of play, the proper playground surfacing makes a great deal of difference on ability and safety for children.
As most children between the ages of 3 to 5 are moving surface level, hands and knees, and very little falls from upper levels.
